After Uni Carolyn began a six year modelling career which took her all over the world however it was whilst in America that the foundations for her career in broadcasting really began

After finishing her degree in Performing Arts…. (University Of London Goldsmith’s College)…. Carolyn began a six year modelling career which took her all over the world however it was whilst in America that the foundations for her career in broadcasting really began.

It was in New York that Carolyn took the brave steps onto the comedy circuit and did a course in Stand-up which propelled her to winning the Best Comic Newcomer Of The Year award in 1997 On Returning to England she applied to a radio station in Blackpool to be their warm-up host for their summer roadshows. After a gruelling interview she managed to land her own show….The Breakfast Show…..

During her 2 years at Radio Wave 96.5FM Carolyn began TV presenting…She was a roving reporter on The End OF the Week Show…Friday Evenings ITV and had her own one hour chat show called Red Replays on MuTV interviewing the likes of Roy Keane, Teddy Sherringham, Alex Fergurson….. and the late Tony Wilson.

Carolyn then moved to London and continued TV presenting, presenting dating shows, music and current affairs shows on ITV, BBC and Ch4 and extensive travel shows for Viewing 4 Leisure and Sky Travel. More recently she presented Game shows for The Digital Interative Group and ITV play and the highly acclaimed and ingenuis Flipside with Justin Lee Collins and Alan Carr for Paramount comedy and CH4.

2006 saw Carolyn take time out to start a family. She kept her hand in by writing and performing in a pilot comedy sketch show for BBC Radio 2 and as a guest presenter on The East Midland’s biggest Girls night in - Love Lines for Century FM

Now itching to get back to work and exercise her husky larynx back on the airwaves she feels she has a lot of stored up wisdom and comedy moments to share with you.

The 3rd Annual Keith Chandler Memorial Race organized by Hastings Runners took place on Sunday 27th April. The 5 mile race started and finished outside Hastings Town Hall. The winner was Ross Clarke from the Havering and Mayesbrook Club, his time of 25 minutes 43 seconds was a new course record. The first lady home was Gill Wheeler from Hailsham Harriers with a time of 30 minutes 23 seconds. The first wheelchair athlete home was Taylor Leigh from Filsham Wheelers, 23 minutes 10 seconds. Arrow FM’s Andy Knight managed to complete the course in a more leisurely 45 minutes!
