Rob was born in Hastings and grew up in Bexhill so it’s safe to say that Rob knows 1066 Country like the back of his hand!

Rob got his first taste of broadcasting at the age of 16 when he was a presenter on school radio station Bexhill FM. He so enjoyed the experience that he decided to spend the next two years training to be a chef at Sussex Downs College instead of pursuing his ambition of working in radio! Fast forward two years and you can now find Rob at Arrow FM where he not only presents shows and works behind the scenes but he can also whip up a great three course meal using any ingredients you care to name!

Outside of radio Rob likes to prove that he’s a real man by taking part in such rugged sports as mountain biking and surfing.

The first lady home was Gill Wheeler from Hailsham Harriers with a time of 30 minutes 23 seconds. The first wheelchair athlete home was Taylor Leigh from Filsham Wheelers, 23 minutes 10 seconds. Arrow FM’s Andy Knight managed to complete the course in a more leisurely 45 minutes!
