Sussex Coast College, Hastings
Key facts about the new College being built in Hastings and opening in 2009:

The extensive programme of construction work that will lead to the opening of Sussex Coast College Hastings in just 18 months time is on schedule. The iconic centre of learning on Station Plaza (next to Hastings Railway Station) is rapidly taking shape as huge cranes, steel super structures and concrete foundations are put into place.
Massive steel frames have begun a steady ascent above the perimeter hoardings, allowing passers-by an insight into the six floors of high tech learning that will reveal themselves in the coming months.
When fully assembled, the main body of steelwork will form a magnificent glazed atrium that will lie at the heart of the College campus. The frontage will provide a breathtaking sight for anyone on the station concourse or walking through the College entrance.
